Madhu Sudana Sankar, is the Joint Secretary in Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, New Delhi, since 10th May 2024. He holds Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical) & Master in Technology (Aero Space) degrees, besides his experience in Aviation. He had an illustrious career in Aviation Sector for 22 years where in he has had diversified experience of serving on Private, Public Sector and Government etc. Doing his appointments at senior positions at various level, he had been responsible for induction of state-of-the art technology in aero structure manufacturing. His expertise has overcome various technical challenges and design solutions. Post taking over rein of Joint Secretary, he has provided the much needed leadership in spreading his technical knowledge in Flying Training Organisation and improve the sector on to the greater heights. He carried the vision of providing, a global industry and he a leading training Organisation to India for the World, utilizing contemporary best practices and scaling up of operations. He is a chess player, penser photography and bike-rider (long distance).
